Pay Pal Without Account
20 Answers
Hi all. Someone without a PayPal account wants to send me money and I believe you don’t need an account to do so. Is that right? Visiting the homepage there is a ‘Send’ dropdown at the top which invites you to enter the recipient’s email address and the amount – is that all you have to do?
Can’t really try it myself as I don’t need to send myself money!

It's easy to send you money without a PayPal account. Just put the bank notes and coins in an envelope and seal it. Put your name & address on the front. Add the correct postage and put it in the pillar box.
Meanwhile, if using PayPal, the sender is going to have to tell PayPal their card details so PayPal can charge it, which I reckon must be as near to having an account that makes no difference.

Sorry I've got this totally the wrong way around. So, you have a PP account -go to send someone money - it will take you to the page where you give the email address of the recipient and how much you want to send. The recipient will get an email saying they have been sent money and they will have to provide bank details to get paid.
I could do but security would be an issue. I run a forum for novice cryptic clue-writers and in return for me evaluating their crosswords I ask for a contribution to the hosting costs. It would be nice to be able to say, in a post, that payments can be made regardless of whether or not one has a PayPal account. Definitely don’t want to make my bank details visible!
But if anyone here would like to send me money, the details are...
Shut up anax.

^ No risk at all , the sort code and account no can ONLY be used to pay cash into the account. The worst that can happen is that someone pays money into your account, there is NO way to take cash out of the account with just the sort code and number, not even the account holder can do that unless they have proof of ID !
Yes Corby, but that is for someone who is on paypal to send cash to someone who is not on paypal. We are talking the other way about, someone who is NOT on paypal to send cash to a paypal account.
I just tried that link and as soon as you enter the email/mobile no it sends you to 'sign into paypal'.
