the history of this site

i was just wandering when this site first came online and who started it and who runs it now? also who wrote all the archive material in each subject? thanks

The site went 'live' in January 2001, it was started by, and is still maintained by a company called FrontOfMind, which is part of the Daily Mail Group. Initially, a number of specialist writers were employed to answer questions, and to write regular feature material for each section. It was decided that the site was strong enough to stand alone as a 'Q & A' stie, so the regular features were dropped, and the Q & A section maintained. I wrote all the 'Music' Archive material, and still contribute my knowledge and opinions on a regular basis.
