It depends on the brand. Some have quite a strong coconut taste and are lovely for stir fries and other Asian Cookery. I use a brand from Sainsburys...Lucy Bee's,that has a lovely mild taste. I use it for everything.

I do my roasties in coconut oil. Gives them a lovely coconutty taste.
