It had been a nice day till about 20 minutes ago. We'd just got home from a visit to the dentist when it went black as the ace of spades and a monsoon kicked in,wind, thunder and lightning the full monty.the rains bouncing 6 inches off the pavement and running down the road like a river in spate about 2 inch deep.

Well, we've had some rain here, in West Yorkshire, but nothing like that. It's been quite warm, as the forecasters predicted, and it's been almost a 'no coat' day, but not too bad, overall.

Er, how can ANY day that includes a visit to a dentist possibly be considered to be 'nice'?
Chris, maybe he said "Your teeth are perfect!"

Life gets no better than that.
we have had a scorcher of a day today NI
My teeth are indeed perfect, Jno, but I wouldn't need to visit a dentist to be told that; I'd just post them to him ;-)
you made me laugh Buenchicho - that was really funny - wish I could post mine. My sista was over on Sunday and I was getting ready to put the falsies in when she started screaming - "get back to the dentist get back" - what the funk could the dentist do. Hopeless she is

We've just got the power back on after a trip and the rains settled down to a steady drizzle so hopefully we're getting back to normal. In regards to the dentist though not perfect I've still got all my own with just a couple of fillings, the visit was for Trish's benefit, one of the kids gave her a chewy sweet yesterday and she promptly fetched out a filling the dentist solved the problem by pulling the tooth.
