How much would a garden add to my property?
We own a first and second floor that looks out onto the ground floor flats disused back garden. Three questions:
How much would be be looking at to purchase a portion of the garden?
How much would this add onto our property?
Is there anything we can do re: getting the leasholder of the rented downstairs properties garden to do something with it? It's a total mess as is his property generally. What can we do? Do we have any rights? Who do we contact?

This shouldn't involve the ground landlord as the tenant can invite who he wants into garden.
I don't think you would gain any rights if the tenant only let you use it 364 days a year.
A tidy garden to look at must be better for your property values than a mess, though maybe not as good as owning the garden.
