Why at the two players left stage, when one player goes through to the last stage Ben Shephard always says and you are today's winner.
The last person has not actually won anything, to me they are the finalist who could possibly go away with nothing.

Not really magicmick, they get to keep what they've won from the earlier rounds if they don't take the final gamble

Correct PankySmooth, but if they take the swap and loose they go away with nothing, so they are not winners. We only know if they win at the end.

What annoys me is the bit where the final person takes the money they've won already, but they're still made to play the final endgame to see if they could have won the big prize. Ridiculous! The fall of the coins is a lottery. The fact that the jackpot coin fell (if it did) during this phase doesn't mean it would have 2 minutes earlier. If I were on there I'd deliberately put my coins at the other end of the machine.

Yes Cloverjo it's a complete waste of time. Similar thing to what they do on Deal or no deal, make them play till the end even though they have finished the game.
