You'll be quiet, then!
Question Author
That'll make a change, Sibs. x
I'm going to have to buy this book now xx
Question Author
Well, if you do, Sibs, I hope you enjoy it.
I visited my Library today, and I wasn't at all surprised to find that there was already 26 people on the waiting list for this book, and they hadn't even got any copies delivered yet !

Another book that I am waiting for is :::

http://www.randomhouse.co.uk/editions/dictator/9781446409107

I have read everything that Harris has ever written, from the still unbeatable " Fatherland"

Question Author
That looks like serious reading, Mikey. I bet it's fascinating though. I haven't read any Robert Harris, I don't think.
Tilly...go down to your Library ( if you still have one ! ) and check out "Fatherland"

Its a fascinating book. It is set on the late 60's and its takes as its premise that Germany successfully brokered a peace deal with Britain, early in the WW2, and America hadn't come into the War. So Hitler and the 3rd Reich are now in power over most of Europe ! But, and I don't want to give too much away, the " Final Solution" took place unopposed but no one knows anything about it...until a German police starts investing a mysterious murder in Berlin.

Its a thriller and very well written...this isn't an "airport" book, if you know what I mean.

I can't recomend it highly enough !
Question Author
I'll consider it, Mikey. Thank you.
Thanks for the heads up Mikey, I'm always on the look out for new authors and haven't read any Robert Harris books as yet.
