I too am pleased to see him back – what a shame he has to call his band ‘Jeff Lynne’s ELO’ for legal reasons, when by definition it is always his ELO, and it makes them sound like a tacky tribute group.

That aside, if you don’t own it, check out the ‘On The Third Day’ album, when Jeff is at the height of his Lennon adoration, and the songs are wonderful – including the peerless Showdown.
