Difficult to envisage, but is it the case that you kind of slot one wire piece into the other to make a buckle, on the same principle as the old snake belt?
Holding your trousers up.

"A small Loup"
is it some sort or Jewellers Belt do you think?

No, no, Boo. I know what the belt's for. What's the loup for. Maybe it got into the packet by accident. :-)
More info required. Is the wire attached to the belt? How long is the wire? Could it be some sort of extender in case you get too curvy for the webbed belt.

Who knows?

I'll try to get a photo later. It's small about 5" so when it's formed into the loup it's only a couple of inches in diametre.
Is it worn on an arm to reduce the length of the shirt sleeve.for a one armed man.??
Do you mean a loop or a loup?
It's to tie up your mouse to stop it escaping...
Question Author
Cantaloop be spelt loup? Maybe not. A loop, then.
:-)
Is it to keep the loose end of the web belt from hanging down sandy? Do you thread it onto the belt and tuck the surplus belt end into it.( I was extra careful when typing Belt End)
