Hp Photosmart 6520 All-In-One Printer

I hope someone can help.
If I scan a document and save it on my laptop, I can print it off with no problem.
However, when I try to "copy" and print a document straight from the printer, the page comes out completely blank.
All the ink cartridges are full
I have tried switching off the printer for 10 mins. and then switching on again.

It appears to be working at the moment, having done cleaning of the printhead

I actually trashed my 6520 because I wasted so much paper, ink and bad language getting it to work properly!

It is still under warranty till August 1916 so won't be trashing it just yet.
The printhead clean sorted it this time. Fingers crossed.

Glad you're sorted, but you might want to check your Tardis is working properly next :-)

The ink cartridge can be responsible for some strange faults, a colleague had an early deskjet which persisted in trying to mangle it's mechanism. Inspected the internals and could find nothing wrong... a change of cartridge cured it.

It was just a blip, more to do with my age than with the printer, I guess :(!

I have just "aligned the cartridges" and printed out a satisfactory "print quality diagnostic" so I am a happy girl at the mo. Thanks all.
