Ice Age 3 Dawn Of The Dinosaurs

Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs is a children’s action adventure film. This is the third in the Ice Age series and sees a return of the superb ensemble cast that includes Ray Romano, Queen Latifah, Denis Leary and John Leguizamo. The gang finds a lost world of dinosaurs after Sid is captured by a tyrannosaurus mother.

Sometimes sequels do not always live up to the originals but this is not the case here. Many viewers found the third Ice Age to be fast paced and more action packed than the previous two which helped keep the interest going. The addition of the hugely funny Simon Pegg as the archetypal loner one eyed weasel Buck was inspirational and the character added some brilliant humour.

The old ‘herd’ are back again but this time there is about to be a new addition as Ellie is pregnant. When Sid gets jealous and wants to be a mother he finds three seemingly abandoned eggs. It turns out these belong to a tyrannosaurus from a lost world, under the ice, filled with dinosaurs. So when sid gets kidnapped by the mother the rest of the gang go underground to rescue him. Their guide is Buck, a clever but slightly deranged weasel that has obviously spent far too much time by himself.
