big toe nail is coming off

don't know how but my big toe nail is only attached on one side is it ok to cut it off upto this point, new nail is growing underneath

artex flaking when painted

when applying paint to ceiling artex it is flaking is this the original artex companies fault, please give me any reasons for this ocuring

flaking ceiling

i have a new house, and the ceilings are artex but on applying emulsion the artex is flaking off, any ideas
