Follow up on '13 year old Westie'

I took Phoebe to vet, she found another one of these 'things' inbetween her pads so she has to have them removed as they grow quite big. She is booked in for 10th September. I'm worried as I don't...

13 year old westie

My westie has grown what looks like a large wart on her front paw. She licks it constantly, it seems to grow very quickly. Taking her to vet on Saturday but has anyone any comments on this?
