slapping a piece of wood.

i was told that slapping a piece of pine would help the flow of blood in the hands... pine was recomended because it is solid, but has a little bit of give... would it be safe for me to slap a plank,...

measuring our kids..

i was told some years ago that if you measure your kids height when they are three years of age, or there abouts and double it. you will have the full grown height worked out... anyone else been told...

we were all told at school. i before e except after c.... just about everyone follows that rule, but the rule is flawed.... WEIRD dont ya think ?!?!?

fairys or leprachauns ?

would anyone prefare leprachauns in their garden to having faries ?? i think faries would be "nice" visitors... i can imagine coming home from a hard days work and watching faries jump around between...

hi peeps... just wondering if any of you peeps out there can help me out. ive got a piece of bamboo. nothing unusual about that i know, but when this particular bamboo gets wet it turns a deep green....

Night Scented Stock..

no sooner i smell "night scented stock" it takes me back nearly 30 years.. its got an almost unique scent to it and as the name suggests, gives off its best smell in the cool of night.. takes me back...
