Is the official plural of Euro (in terms of currency) Euro or Euros?

I would say Euros, like pounds. But I noticed in Ireland they always say Euro. For example one advert on the radio said 'save thousands of Euro'. You say, 'I weigh 12 stone' NOT 'stones' though. Any...
