white distilled vinegar for cooking

I am trying to make a Weight Watchers recipe for brownieds which requires white distilled vinegar. Is that the same as white distilled malt vinegar or something different? if it is something different...

Where can I buy white distilled vinegar for cooking? Is it the same as malt distilled vinegar? I need it to replace eggs in a brownie recipe.
