Numbers Puzzle

Came across this numbers puzzle which is annoying the hell out of me. Can anyone work it out? 1 = -7 2 = 0 3 = 73 4 = 1016 5 = ? 6 = ? etc

What number is missing from this series and why? 1,3,5,10,15,20,?,50,75,100,250. Let me know if you have any idea and why? Best of luck i've given in,got no hair left!
