wages paid late because boss on holiday!

we're paid every fortnight by cheque which takes 5 days to clear! then when our boss and his wife company sec go on their two week hoilday which happens 3 times a 4 times a year we get paid late as in...

i've been told they don't pay travel time????

i work on the books for a firm and they are telling me i have to work 2 hours away for them but i must do 8 hours on the job! my vehicle has a tracker! 8-4.30(30 minutes as they don't pay for dinner...
