Internet access scare

I lost internet access on my broadband, and for the first time ever had to reboot to restore it. It even had the little lights flashing. As I closed all the IE pages, a little quick pop up came up...

WEIRD goings on!

I have no idea what to do - the "my computer" and calculator box opens on its own at random intervals! Also, my system shut down all of a sudden twice as well. I have checked for viruses and spyware...

win mx duplicate download users

When I download various songs and search for sources by right hand clicking on song then clicking on 'Find soucres now' is comes up with hundreds of duplicate sources all with the same username....
