What are these "walking boots" say that Sandy Roe used for walking. My friend had a pair many years and while they looked very heavy, ugly and uncomfortable she said they were comfortable for walking....

Anything I can put on MAXIE'S side as he is still licking -not so bad - but leaving him pink skin. I clean him down with a soothing wipe then I put a little cream. It does help. Any other ideas.
