Fly with Broken Ankle

My Father's partner has broken her ankle and we are due to fly back on the 22nd of August. Will she be able to fly as she has her entire leg in a cast and has had an operation on it??? Kind regards...

I'm out in Canada returning to Heathrow airport on the 23rd. I was curious as to what we were aloud to take on the aircraft, what with the recent terror alerts etc. Are things such as ipod etc...
