Actor in vodka ad

Does anyone know who the male actor in the ad for (standard?) vodka is? My wife swears she knows him from something else. I've only seen it once myself. He is dark with designer stubble

Does anyone know the music used to advertise the new "Messiah" prog with mark warren. It has the line-"close your eyes, go to sleep" and sounds a bit like Tom Waite
