If Attending An Event Where They Are Taking Temperatures On Arrival

how much difference would it make if you had for example had to run to make it on time, or were carrying heavy luggage? Would your temperature rise to an unacceptable level?

What Do You Call It

when you use initial letters that don't spell another word ie as in acronyms. Initialisms seems such a mouthful - is it ok to still call them acronyms? I am thinking in terms of GHF (glass half full)...
