renault laguna egr valve

does any one now if a egr valve is fulty.on my laguna when i take the intercooler pipe of the inlet manifold you felt the egr valve pushing air in every few seconds, this does not do that any more...

HELP renualt laguna 1.9dci 2001 OIL TROUBLE

i recently changed the turbo cause the turbo was on its way out. cleaned all pipes and intercooler cause it had oil init put it all back toger clean and there is still oil getting in the inlet...
