i had left masking tape covering crome fittings for quite a while, and when i eventually took it off the sticky part was still left. I dont want to scratch or 'brillo pad' it off as i dont want to...

I fitted a new alternator yesterday & now my 2.5litre K plate transit keeps on loosing charge. The battery light dosnt come on when ignition turned on, is thie a rectifier prob or startermotor...
