Red Beard

If some had a beard which has brown blond and reddish colours in it would it mean they hold the gene for red hair ? Tks

Ginger Beard-Gene for red hair ?

Hello My husband has brown hair when he grows stuble the colour is a mixture of brown,blond and ginger. Does this mean he holds the gene for red hair ? Thanks
