Will we ever see a finale for the tv mini series INVASION and Surface

Both were cancelled and the dvd's that say completed version only show were they ended on tv. They are not completed. Is there any way I can get the ending to these. Or were they left this way.

both these mini series were great. invasion was left up in the air, with no ending. i bought the dvd completed version. it was not a completed version. it just ended with the last episode. it left me...
