F1 on startup

When I first power up it gets so far then have to 'F1 to sesume' everything then continues and 98SE loads in fine. Anybody got any ideas how to make it load up without doing the F1 thing evertime.

Talking on the internet

How come I can't talk like I can on the telephone. On the internet using Yahoo its 'I talk you listen' then 'you talk I listen' (half duplex).I have full duplex sound and modem card.
