engine conversion

iv got a escort mk5 rs2000 94 model, i was wondering could i change the bottom end on my engine, like put a 2.2 in? how much more power could i expect and whats the biggest could i put in? cheers

battery power

i changed my gearbox on my escort rs2000, it starts up and drives perfectly, but now the battery light comes on, can anyone tell me how to find the fault? thanks

my car is struggling to start, it keeps turning over for ages then starts after a while, could there be an air bubble somewhere in the system?

i have a escort 1994 rs2000, bhp currently 170ish, whats the best way to get it to the 220 mark? turbo is out of the question.
