I have just aquired a black metallic Merc C180 Esprit , which I would like to de-badge. My previous car, same make/model was already de-badged when I bought it, so I would like the same with this one....

Hairdressing scissors

Can anyone tell me why hairdressing scissors have that little finger rest on them? Is there a point to it, or is it just to make the hairdresser's hand look elegant?! Thank you!
