windows updates and service pack

i need windows updates or a windows update pack but i cant download them everyime i try to its says to use internet explorer, because i am on firefox, so i change to internet explorer and everything...

system restore HELP!

i remeber doing some thing to my system restore ages ago and i think i turned it off it somehow is not turned on and not working does anyone know any possiblies of turning it back on i really need it...
