adding extra memory to p.c?

Can anyone tell me if getting an external hard drive will automatically increase the memory on my computer or is this just a back up?

Ipod Library

Can anyone tell me how to back up my Ipod Library.  I do not have the songs saved on my hard drive as i have had to delete them to free up space....

e-mailing digital photos

I have just bought kodak easyshare cx7430 with printer dock.  I have loaded the software and have got my photos onto the P.C ok but i cannot e-mail them.  It keeps giving me an error message...
