Anti-virus scan has taken nearly 20 hours

What is the normal time for a scan to run? I don't understand why it takes so long on my computer. Any reasons for this?

broken nails

I've had a problem with broken nails for many years now and I've never know why they are caused and if there is anything I can do to stop them from splitting. It used to just occur on my thumb nails...
