windows live messenger

i have windows live messenger and just recently all my contacts have dissapeared. it only shows who is offline. if i re-install it, will all my contacts be lost?

Updating Grpahic Card

I am about to start updating my system. Several people on here have advised that I should remove the drivers for the current card. I have looked in Control Panel | Add/Remove and don't see anything...

Noisy fan

For a few weeks now when i turn the tower on the fan makes a loud noise for a couple of minutes then stop,not bothered by the noise but is it likely to effect the performance in the future and also...
