Dear All,

We had a request from some Q&P users about the font used in the questions and answers on The AnswerBank, mainly the problem was that using Arial produced some characters which look identical namely:

l & I

Or:

L & i

So we're changing it.

Hit F5 or ctrl+F5 to see the results.

Hope you like it. Let us know if you spot any bugs!

You're right Chuck...

What have I done?...
hitting f5 or ctrl and f5 just makes a symbol that looks like a sunflower come up on my screen. I can't see any difference!
Looks bigger..thought my screen had zoomed in by 5%

So i can't say boIIix anymore? :(
either you are pressing FN, not control, or Your laptop has the alternative functions on the F keys enabled by default, in which case you'll need to press FN+CTRL+F5
oh wait...sorry
My answer was to bednobs...
thanks chuck. Nothing happened when i did that either, so i have to conclude that when i opened up answerbank 5 minutes ago, the change had already been made
I = Cap 9th letter of alphabet
l = Lower 12th letter
1 = One
O = Cap 15th letter
0 = Zero

Look pretty good.

Characters too! Ὼ ※ ⅓    ⎈ ✓ ʘ 

We've gone Verdana for this part and kept Arial for the rest.

We did try Verdana across the board but it looked a little wonky in the Latest Posts box. Hope this is alright with everyone.

I thought some would like the minor increase in size which Verdana offers (feels like a .5 jump or similar?)

Spare.
not sure i want owt tweaking....

Oh go on then!

Oooo i like it! The fonts ok too.
It's much easier to read now. Thank you.
