change user name

Is there anyway I can change my user name please - I've only just learned that anyone googling it can find out where I post and there are some people I would prefer not to have access to this information -

I am a bit of an open book and got chatting to one Aber and gave very little away, but coupled with a photo of the view from my window, he said he could walk straight to my door - only in a friendly way!! We chat whenever he is on.

ummmmm - that's the whole point -my user name would be known to this person - I was really stupid using it but I did and have to live with the consequences.
Of course anyone is entitled to use this site JTH but whereas he would know who I was, I wouldn't know his username.

Anyway, will get in touch with ED and try to get it changed, if not, been nice chatting and thank you all for your help on this and on other threads and I mean that very sincerely.

Honestly, you'd be surprised, carmalee.

There are many people on here who have odd user-names simply because the one they had intended to use, or are more often known by was already taken by someone else.........me, included. It is not impossible that someone else could have had 'your' name.......really.

Anyway, I hope that whatever you choose to do, you will be fretting slightly less, now. :o)
