Afternoon,

We've popped up a TV guide link in Media & TV. The guide is provided by UKNetGuide and is fairly good for it's simplicity.

Check it out over here: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Media-and-TV/

Hope everyone is having a good day.

found it.
Still looking.

All I get below the share rectangle is:
AdChoices then below that:

Lioyds TSB
HSBC Offshore
Tesco Internet Saver
Best 10 Savings Accounts
Business Bank Account Alt

'That's all folks'.
Ed....The link is a good thing from the point of view that AB will have revenue from it.
However, it is useless to me because I live in Wales. Don't I.!!?? :-) :-)

Ron.
no, cant see it :(
I can't see it either. I can see plenty of links offering my money though!
It's strange that some folk cannot see it, because it is flashing away like mad on my screen.........UK Net Guide......Tonight's TV Guide.....We guide you decide.

Perhaps the Ed inserted the last 'flash' as an AB policy item.!!

Ron.
Maybe its something to do with my settings which is blocking it.
Found it under 'Time for a new job in 2012'

But this Ad disappears at times, to be replaced with yet another Ad.which does not have the UK net TV guide at the bottom.

Then it will pop up again on the L/H side and then back on the R/H side.

Complete waste of time in my opinion, so it's back to the paper guide.
It's all rather strange that some ABers are experiencing difficulties finding the link. I was thinking that perhaps it was something to do with their Browsers.

I use Firefox as my default browser and, although the Ed's link doesn't appeal to me, I thought I would test it out with other browsers.... Opera; Google Chrome & IE....All of which require my 'loggin-in' to AB if I wish to comment on matters. However, without 'logging-in' I was able to traverse AB and 'click onto' the TV Guide.

I am assuming that a response from the Ed is unlikely to be forthcoming over this weekend because, quite rightly, he does take a little time off duty. However, as we have a few respected Moderators with a wealth of technical knowledge, perhaps one of them is 'logged in' and will comment on matters.

I use FF as well but as I said in an previous post I do have 'ad blocker' so without switching it off, I'll never see it... but to keep things simple I use this one...

Found it flashing away on my computer at work today. I checked it during my lunch and there it was. Shame I can't see it on my PC, looks quite handy as I've unsubscribed my weekly Heat Magazine which has a TV guide.
