Any suggestions for minor improvements across the site?

Good idea chuck then people can choose. It is frustrating if a thread is long and you've been following it to click from the latest post box and you start at page one again so choice would be good methinks.

+1 for an edit facility-but one that shows the date and time the change was made. This will prevent any one back tracking on earlier statements.

can we have the option to customise the page to get rid of the orange curtains and also remove from the topics any subjects we never use, don't go into much orwish d an can we also have backgrounds that personalise what we actually see? and the latest posts is too high up when you type a reply and you can't see it all and the grey background itoo pale c we change it to pink or magenta. and can we change the size of the font too,

you can change font size yourself, dotty, View>Zoom or similar, or were you just thinking of using bigger letters for specially important posts and names of significant singers?

I'm with everyone else - latest post topic to default to end of posts instead of beginning, its the most annoying thing on this site.

I like the idea of FAO as a separate topic (especially urgent medical questions for Sqad, but he is usually very quick to reply anyway, bless him :)

I have always felt that an FAO section would be useful. However, Not one for Personal Messages as such. Merely a spot where we could draw a person's attention to a posting in which he/she may have a particular interest or perhaps a specialised knowledge to reply to a question. It would only require a two box 'set-up' into which one could put a 'Username' followed by a link to a question. e.g.:-

The best answer tab still hasn't been fixed, despite many comments on AB posts and my own emails to you Ed, so maybe the latest 'new' improvements should be sorted before any 'newer' ones are implemented ......
