I keep having to 'refresh webpage'. Anyone else having similar problems?

All other sites I've been into today are fine.

Fine early this morning, but trying to log in several times a moment ago wasn't. The screen just froze every time. Adverts were Zulily, Harrods, Wonga.com, and one for 'stunning driveway paving' most of which was fuzzy, ill-aligned, and unreadable, so I couldn't see the company name.
It's ok on Google chrome.
There is definitely something wrong with IE entries into AB.

I normally use Firefox as my default Browser and Google Chrome as my second choice. However, I am posting this via IE9.

A short while ago I had three 'Freeze-ups' on the Browser I am using for this exercise. The screen messages which I recieved were " Answerbank is not responding" (My OS is Windows Vista)

On screen for the first two coolies I could observe the top of an Advert for..GFI Mail Archiver. I smiled at the third 'Freeze-up, because it had an advert for a download of Google Chrome.

Perhaps Google is targetting IE users to switch to Chrome.! :-)

Ron.
For some time now (days) my computer has frozen on AB, but I just come out of it and then go back in and it's then OK for a time.

Another thing. It doesn't seem to happen at night. Don't know if that's relevant either. :o/
Anyone been "conking out" recently?

I've been popping in and out of AB since fairly early this morning. All was well until about 10am when the problem started again. Thinking about it, that seems to be the pattern - and then in the late evening all is well again. Early morning seems fine - and late evening. The rest of the day is haphazard.
Thanks Naomi. I wonder if it's our traffic spikes. Did you come on during the day on the weekend? That's when it get heaviest around here.

Ed, Yes, unless I'm away from home, I'm at my desk a lot and look in every day at frequent intervals.

Don't know if you've seen this.

Thanks Naomi.
I don't know if these details are relevant, but here they are anyway:
1. naomi24. The red advert that you mention in your post of 09.30 Fri. 26 Oct. is from Vodafone.
2. Ed: my PC froze several times over the past few days. On one occasion,in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen I saw this:
Waiting for: http://uk.hostingadju...m/AdjugSearch/Results and so on.
I saw this today: Waiting for: http://showads.pubmat.../AdServlet?kadNetwork and so on.

I hope that this info is of some help to someone.

Thanks Bookbinder. Oddly enough, it just happened again, and the only advert I could see was a square Vodafone ad in the space next to 'Best Answer'. The other one I spoke of was a rectagonal one on the right side of the screen.

It’s happened 4 times this morning in the space of about 8 minutes. Started going wrong just before 9am. Ads: T Mobile: Viking river Cruises: Vodafone: and Vodafone again.
Answerbank often freezes up on me too. Also get the script notice as well...rare that any other site acts like this thank goodness.
I haven't had the problems some others have had with AB failing to respond- except for the Christmas subsection in Chatterbank. If I select the Christmas subsection the system just hangs.
I use FF as my default Browser but keep trying IE 9 just to see what happens. The Chritsmas section not only 'Hangs' and 'Freezes' but notices appear at the bottom of the screen which either say AB is not responding, or that the site is trying to install Adobe Flash.

Similar things also happen in other sections.

I reckon Flash has some bearing on the problem.

Ron.
