Hurricane Sandy On Collision-course with AB
87 Answers
For those that don't know, AB is hosted in New Jersey. So if your computer starts leaking water, it's probably come through the AB server and down the pipes to you :)
Naturally, our hosting facility is top notch, water-tight and probably a submarine... so there's unlikely to be anything to worry about.
EDIT: This post is not intended to make light of anyone who may be in trouble during this horrible event.

Current forecast is N Delaware/S Jersey passing into Pennsylvania but remember, for those of you who have not been in a huurricane, the east side of the storm is the "dirty" side with sustained winds 10-15 mph higher than the quoted average and the west side the "clean" side with winds 10-15 mph less....
The winds on this storm are not that severe but the concern is the length of being battered and the ground becoming soaking wet - and then when it (the eye) goes through, the winds then turn and batter the trees from the other direction and down they come......then there is the expected storm surge for the coasts and, inland (west and north), where the storm comes up against the cold weather, 10-12 inches of snow expected.
