Only in AB, every time I try and change topics within AB I get a full screen advert for 'tickets and discount vouchers' appear and AB shuts down, the ad. is for 'the ???????', it's gone so quick you can't get a screen shot, but it's mainly grey and white design with yellow script and it's a very fast mover.
Will add more if I can get it.

From typing the OP I clicked on the " I'm having trouble with a game" thread, and immediately got a full screen Ad. for 'Norton security products'
http://buy.norton.com/en-gb/
which also closed AB when I tried to get back to it
I'm not clicking on that link.
I might catch it. Is that how it works?

@ 1030, this time it was this ad that took over and the closed AB.

DO NOT CLICK ON IT

PS<
Have run Malwarebytes inbetween postings, all clear this end.
Sometime ads take over the screen if you hover over them enough - maybe you left your mouse where an ad was? Try hovering over the middle ad on this page - is that the sort of thing you're talking about?
(not all ads work "on hover") but some do.
I keep getting page cant be displayed and its showing
b3-uk.mookie1.com and its so frequent, I just go off site.
Good morning The winner I also get this, very annoying!

Unusually, I've only got one AD. atm, 'British Airways' down R?H side.
Hovered for a minute before starting this reply, still hovering, no probs.
I do try not to hover on Ads as a few of them have a habit of breaking into song, or worse if I do.
moving mouse now, all ok

Off to Dentist, will check in later.
Hmm. Having another look.
For about a week now I keep getting ''web page cannot be displayed ''flashing up. It only happens on Answerbank.

Andre, look back on Ed's Blog to 16:25 Mon 02nd Jun 2014, same problem.
Thanks Baldric. I'll look it up.
The Winner and Vakayu are also having this same problem
I'm still losing the webpage I have to click on 'return to last page' to get it back. It hasn't happened on any other website.
Still investigating.
I'm still getting the scam java one.

And for the record the hovering genuine ads that usually sit down and to the right of the OP box is my most hated thing on AB. It opens all the time even if the mouse is only there for a second.
FAO andres,I looked up the blog suggested by Baldric and that's exactly what happens andthen I click on return to previous page and it is resolved, strange, although having said that fingers crossed it has not happened today YET!
