I Was A Member, Then I Wasn't, Now I Am Again
25 Answers
I had (or have) been a member for a long time. If I didn't come to the site for a month or more, it seemed that I had to sign in (whereas if I had signed in recently, the site seemed to recognise me). That was OK. Today I tried to sign in, but I was unable to. I don't know why. So I re-registered. I was expecting to be told that my email address was already on the system, but that didn't happen.
OK so I'm a new member. I'd like to be able to see what questions I asked before, and what questions I replied to. Can I do that? How?

I'm sorry, I can't remember. I got a message at the top of the page saying (I think) "Ooops something has gone wrong with this account", but that might have been when I first tried with the wrong password. I should add that there is a chance that I changed the password that I have written down on a piece of paper, but, if I had done that, I would have changed it to the first password that I tried. I use the same password for several sites. I know I shouldn't, but how am I to remember dozens of different passwords and which sites they belong to? I use different passwords for banking (of course).
I've picked out an example for you to click on and then replace the user name at the end with your own user name- and you should see the status of your account

Thanks to everyone who helped (or tried to). I have found my old questions by searching for my old user name (as ummmm suggested). That took some time, as I had forgotten my old user name. When I first register and try to use that name, I am usually told that that name is already in use, so I try adding a couple of numbers. But AB let me use my 'name' without the numbers, which is what I eventually searched for.
So thanks again!
So thanks again!
So are you saying you sometimes forget your password and so have to keep re-registering with a slightly different name?
If you want to use one of your earlier names when you try to sign in you could just use the password reset facility.

In answer to your question about how to remember dozens of different passwords, for what it's worth here is my method. I use the same remembered (complex) password for all sites with the exception of four characters in the middle which I change for each site. I then keep a card index of these sets of four characters (which of course I change from time to time).
