The title says it all, really. Should I enter the same question is several sections? The scooter was unusual in being propelled by a pedal at the front (not the Triang one). I just want to see one again. I'd buy one if I could.

Well, that's the closest I've seen! Mine was very similar, but the wheels were a bit bigger and the pedal was more like the handle you see on some spades -- a Y-shape with a bar across the top.
But how did you find it? I had, of course, tried numerous Google searches before posting on AB.

Since you seek one to buy, the answer is Shopping.
@Baldric, as Bert45 is a newbie, might it be kinder + more pleasant to speak normally to him, rather than quote rules and regs to him?
Just a thought.

Baldric and Bathsheba: don't fall out over this! Yes, I'm not really a newbie, but, like many others, I expect, I did not read the rules and regulations before I started asking questions or answering them.
I've had one good answer, though. Perhaps I can rephrase my question and post it on shopping, as long as nobody dobs me in! ☺
Your secret is safe-ish ;-)
This looks like a modern version for adults.

I'd still need stabilisers I think.

Thanks to all, especially Robinia and sandyRoe. I've been scouring the internet for months (not all the time, but occasionally over many months when a new approach occurred to me) and I never came close to those two websites. I had my scooter in about 1957/58, but I it was second-hand even then. I don't think it had a maker's name on it. If it did, I never knew it. I don't know if it was made in the UK, but I somehow doubt it. It was absolutely brilliant!
I'm pleased my answer was helpful Bert. I think I googled 'Vintage toy scooter, pedal driven'. I had a scooter around '59 too but no pedal, just one shoe more worn than the other. :)
