Title Text Looks Like This, With Each Word Capitalised. Free entry can look like this, and you don't have to worry about BBC becoming Bbc in the title. However, it does mean PeOple CAN B WaCkY with ThEir TitleS.

why isnt there a third option of cant be arrissed ?
Threads created with "wacky" titles are likely to get less attention, or at least less welcome attention. It might even highlight the kiddie created ones that are more likely to need removal.
People aren't usually wacky with their titles, it's much more common for the current system to make them look that way.

Keep the swear filter, whatever happens, though.
I think we need far more people to vote.
I am not sure of the historical reasons for putting all words in titles (other than words like a, the, it) in capital letters- it seems illogical to me and just makes things difficult to read.
Free form for me.
I also suggest links in title boxes should be disallowed- only spammers use them
Voted for free entry. You'll still have people type in their questions with every word Capitalised (Although I don't understand why...).
Peas me off when I type something exactly the way I wish it to be then find a computor has changed it.
ThE CraZe Of TeEnAgeRs TyPinG LiKe ThIs HaS LoNg GoNe.

Re-living your youth Ummmm?
;-)
No...just remembering how annoying my children were :-)
FREEDOM!!! It doesn't bother me either way so long as the actual question is understandable even if written with poor grammar, spelling etc.
I try to remember only the good bits.
Can be difficult at times ;-)
People are normally conservative about change, but I will predict that free entry will win.

Too many times, the forced capitalisation looks odd.

'IS head for a defeat'

becomes

'Is Head For A Defeat'.

(The capitalised A always looks terrible)
If it ain't broke - don't fix it
But it is broke.
But even more important (in the crossword section anyway) would be to give the name of the publication, the number of the puzzle and maybe the date. I am sick of searching for an answer and failing dismally, only to find that somebody has asked the question but put the title as "Stumped" or "Last one" or something equally irrelevant and unhelpful. Grrrrrrr!
There is a good title builder in Crosswords but it isn't used very often.
Gromit at 10.03. Good example of how daft - and confusing - Title Text can become.
We agree on something, Naomi!
