Will we be having a vote on it? If so, I don't fancy your chances TTT, as all those 'We Hate TTT Brigade' will vote against it, I know, been there got the T/Shirt.

Question Author
eg in news there are nearly 10000 threads, current affairs? 13!
Surely a thread will only get 'buried' if it has little or no contributors? A popular post ,wherever made, will remain in Latest Posts.
Some sub cats make perfect sense and they aren't difficult to find.
"Surely a thread will only get 'buried' if it has little or no contributors?"

That is the point of TTT's post............many subsections are basically now defunct.
Question Author
not if no one sees it in the first place. New threads appear on the home page for a short time then they are gone and if they are not in a popular category then they'll not get noticed. No idea why my thread was singled out for this treatment.
You do seem to think that your own posts are the single most important and fascinating things on AB, geezer....

You may think there are 13 posts in this category, but if you click on the 'Questions Answered' tab, you'll find that your question is being kept company by 203 others...

"Your other thread was not 'news' it was simply another brexit chat. " - like about 50% of the others, yet they haven't been moved.

have a day off spath, news has long been used to debate politics etc. Quite often threads are not an out and out question.
Question Author
quite right AOG, I do seem to be the subject of special attention here.

That's primarily because *you* use the section to post anything that pops into your head about Current Events. This section is far more appropriate for that.
Question Author
perhaps a change of avatar is in order....

Before you close subscription to your group of ganged up against, whilst you have been posting on this thread Spare has moved a dozen more threads.

Sub Cats will get used if people use them, not difficult.
