The role of the AnswerBank Editor is to maintain the quality of the website content. It is not to get involved in personal disputes between users. The harassment and bullying occurring on the site is now affecting the quality of the website.

The sly digs and conversations full of insinuations are being dragged across different threads and categories. It's making the site unpleasant.

Regular and well-established members should know better. It's a shame that those involved are regular and longstanding.

We're implementing a zero-tolerance stance when it comes to this now.

Moderators, please suspend well-established users if they involve themselves with this ongoing drama. If we feel the suspension is justified then we will leave it in place indefinitely.

I'm finding it difficult to read books at the moment. I spent a lot of money on new glasses in the summer and my illness has affected my eyesight. I can only read for a short time before my vision goes blurred. I'm hoping it will settle. I prefer fact to fiction when it comes to books.

I hope you feel this is now working for you Ed, I feel that if anything it has highlighted bigger problems now with duplicate threads being made and more and more people being snapped at.
I received a warning for a response that has left me unwilling to make to many responses.

OK, RH. Cross posted. The thing is, RH, a zero tolerance initiative has been implemented. If warnings have been issued in the early days those on the receiving end should take heed. The alternative is instant suspension.
