Harassment And Bullying - FYI Moderators And Members

The role of the AnswerBank Editor is to maintain the quality of the website content. It is not to get involved in personal disputes between users. The harassment and bullying occurring on the site is now affecting the quality of the website.

The sly digs and conversations full of insinuations are being dragged across different threads and categories. It's making the site unpleasant.

Regular and well-established members should know better. It's a shame that those involved are regular and longstanding.

We're implementing a zero-tolerance stance when it comes to this now.

Moderators, please suspend well-established users if they involve themselves with this ongoing drama. If we feel the suspension is justified then we will leave it in place indefinitely.

Biggest problem on here is that each Mod has their own little Clique or gang. They are easy to spot it follows a pattern.

My thoughts about this are, if someone says something silly and/or offensive and there are moderators/admin that are active on the thread already, the best thing to do is not talk about said comment or bring any attention to it. The active moderators/admin will deal with it.

The 'put-upon' are running to teacher even after teacher has acted and reacted.

I feel we're being 'nudged' as is the modern way and it won't end well in my very, very humble opinion.
