Ok Naomi has just pointed out that someone I thought was a mod is not one. Any chance we could have some sort of indicator that tells us who actually is a mod?

Moderators can't ban or suspend other moderators. That's the only way Naomi24 will know if someone is a moderator or not without their name being on the known moderator's list.

It shouldn't matter who the mods are. I know who a couple of them are because they announce it but couldn't care less.

Stick to the Site Rules and it won't make any difference to anything you say on here.

retro, when I want to report a spam thread I often find the thread's gone by the time I get to it. I imagine that's done by mods. Banning of regular ABers seems quite rare.

The obsession with who's a mod and who isn't is silly. They generally do a good job. If you're having posts removed and getting banned regularly it's most likely your fault.
