Hello,

I hope someone can help me with the following.

When sending photos via AirDrop from my old iPhone 10 (XS) they automatically went into to the photos application on my MacBook pro.

However now when sending photos now to a MacBook pro via AirDrop from an iPhone 16 they now automatically go into downloads.

Does anyone know how I can get my photos sent via AirDrop to go back into the photos application on my MacBook pro rather than going into downloads.

Thanks

I don't tend to send photos from one device to another, so can't advise on your issue.

I just log into iCloud.com with my Apple password and all photos are available on all devices. Would that work for you? Or don't you back them up to iCloud?
