Ed, Whats going on?

Morning Ed,

I've just perused some of the threads this morning from over the weekend and it appears ummmm and docspock have been suspended. Surely this a mistake and maybe they got caught in some sort of crossfire over the weekend. Can you please look into this and let us know what happened.
I cant see anything why they would have been suspended for.........and Docs christmas video is absolutely superb, albeit a bit early, the lovable old twit.......lol

We're talking about two of the nicest people on AB here, Ed, so this has to be an error surely?.

Actually Mike, I am in possession of a whole brain but I don't see anyone spluttering indignantly about the offence the Pope's ineffectual action against paedophilic priests causes me. You misunderstand me. I would not for one moment deny anyone the right to express their opinion, except doing so in the full knowledge that it will cause gratuitious offence to others. Disagreeing with the Pope is one thing, describing him as an aged pervert in a white frock with a silly hat is another, and unworthy to be posted on a forum of serious debate.

Dot, a religious apologist is someone who will excuse religion regardless of what it does or of what it promotes. For example, Jehovah's Witness parents refusing their children life-saving blood transfusions, or the Catholic church condemning the use of condemns despite the tragedy of Aids-torn Africa.
